Ernest. Chase pigeons, catch pigeons, pass on messages through pigeons – pigeons as bridges between “us” and “you”.
Ernest plan to spend their time in Glasgow searching for those street pigeons they have previously caught, attached messages to and instructed to head northwards. Having discovered their hapless messengers, they plan to conduct a pigeon supper, inviting the inhabitants of Glasgow to join us in a celebratory dinner in which the medium is very much the message, or at least the form is the content, of our stomachs. (Part of East Side Projects Birmingham, Extra Special People (ESP) ‘Castling’ project.)
